Imaan Hammam Steals the Spotlight From Taylor Hill and Anna Ewers on UK Vogue’s February Cover

Jumping on the bandwagon with the multi-girl cover trend, British Vogue scored a trio of the industry’s hottest models for its February 2017 edition. Enter dynamic threesome Imaan Hammam, Taylor Hill and Anna Ewers as they huddle together wearing head-to-toe Saint Laurent for photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

“This would have been more appropriate for December. It looks cheap for Vogue, not high-fashion. The girls look good tho,” acknowledged forum member Nymphaea the moment the cover struck.

“Imaan is stealing the spotlight for me. She’s all I can see between the three,” described dodencebt, setting the tone for commentary to follow.

Sharing the same sentiments was anlabe32. “Imaan looks gorgeous, Taylor looks like she’s on set after a long night out but the worst is definitely Anna. She looks like a plain Jane. Overall, boring cover but nice to see models,” she credited.

Sixtdaily felt the same way, echoing, “I like it, great selection of models. Imaan clearly steals the show, and indeed Taylor looks sleepy and Anna is just… there.”

“Imaan def steals the show. She looks absolutely amazing. The smile fits perfectly. I could have done without Taylor who I think can’t model at all and Anna doesn’t look comfortable. Should have been just Imaan and Anna smiling and it would have worked,” wrote RanThe.

“My eyes went straight to Imaan. Having said that, they could’ve done so much better. They had three gorgeous models, and we get this? Anna looks awkward,” exclaimed MON.

Miss Dalloway simply just wasn’t buying it. “What a massive let down! Girls look good, but as a whole, the cover is such a non-event!! [Alexadnra] Shulman can be so clueless, makes me wonder how many better cover options they had,” she said.
