Carine Roitfeld Stars on CR Fashion Book #10, Alongside Lara Stone and Bella and Gigi Hadid

It’s hard to believe CR Fashion Book is celebrating its tenth edition this month. Founded by Carine Roitfeld back in 2012 after her departure as editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, the biannual book has garnered plenty of headlines over the years — and the title is sure to receive a few more with its newest issue. Roitfeld ventured back to Paris to gather inspiration for the celebratory edition while starring alongside models Lara Stone and Bella and Gigi Hadid on four separate covers.

After seeing Lara Stone’s cover first, our forum members were quick to generate discussion. “Looks like a French Vogue cover,” described ivano, no doubt reminded of Lara’s cover from October 2010.

“A very weak VP cover, the art direction is more interesting than Lara here,” added an underwhelmed Benn98.

“The layout and the typography is terrible!” declared Creative.

Also left unimpressed was Scotty: “The layout is horrible! I also HATE her logo that goes across the page, ruins the pictures for me.”

“Ten issues, but has this magazine actually produced any memorable content?” asked a dumbfounded blueorchid.

MyNameIs seemed to share the same outlook, replying, “LOL. I actually can’t remember one single image that came from this magazine.”

ThatGuyPaul disagreed, defending, “I can remember a lot of CR Fashion Book covers and I’m not even lying. Their covers are memorable!”

“Love this,” shared narcyza, showing the covers some love.

“It was the right time for her to cover her own magazine. I’ve actually got nothing against that. She’s got a lot going for her with her fashion line, hyped to the max at the moment, working on all the top brands, and the greater public is starting to take note of her,” admitted Benn98.

@gigihadid is back for #CR10Paris, by @mario_sorrenti and @carineroitfeld. On newsstands March 2nd.
