Gigi Hadid Models Her Tommy Hilfiger Collection on Vogue Netherlands’ May Cover

Gigi Hadid has more than a few Vogue covers in her growing portfolio, most recently captivating us on the launch issue of Vogue Arabia. Now, Gigi makes a return to Dutch Vogue‘s front cover for May 2017, wearing her very own Tommy Hilfiger collection. Shot by Serge Leblon, the current face of Max Mara wears a striped one-piece under a denim bomber jacket in the playful cover image.

Our forum members either loved or loathed the cover. “Great fresh cover, love the Tommy colors, Gigi is working that cover,” commented Nymphaea.

“This is a perfect early summer cover. She looks awesome! This feels very 90s supermodel to me, and I’m here for it,” applauded a more than satisfied happycanadian.

Sharing the same sentiments was Miss Dalloway. “Yeah, a bit 90s but in a refreshing way! I like it,” she approved.

“After epic Lara and Doutzen cover we get this?” asked a horrified narcyza. “It looks so cheap, and Gigi has always the same face for me.”

“Gigi looks cheap as usual. Only Steven Meisel can save her,” added a disapproving GreyVetiver.

Benn98 wasn’t feeling it either, complaining, “Looks very cheap, from the hairdo to the jacket, to the pose. And what’s with all that space on top her head, they couldn’t crop the image properly? You wouldn’t say this is a Serge Leblon cover at all, even Marc de Groot could do better..”

KateTheGreatest couldn’t have agreed more. “I had high hopes because of Serge Leblon but I don’t like this. Plus, her face is so Photoshopped,” she declared.

“The hand on the head is so cheesy. Very America’s Next Top Model,” laughed RedSmokeRise.
