Lara Stone Does 70s Glamour on Vogue Mexico’s Trio of Stunning Covers for May

We are living for Vogue Mexico right now.  It seems like only yesterday that the fashion bible managed to outdo Vogue Spain with its Adwoa Aboah cover and now we move swiftly on to May 2017 with a trio of covers featuring forum favorite Lara Stone. Photographed by Giampaolo Sgura, the Dutch blonde bombshell channels her inner 70s diva in each cover image, wearing looks from Chanel, Michael Kors and Carolina Herrera.

Our forum members declared their love as soon as the covers were released. “Beautiful, like them all,” Miss Dalloway raved straight away.

“Gorgeous!! I love them all! This is how you do it,” commented a delighted MON.

“I love them,” confessed kokobombon. “Especially because the cover line reads about women and power but she’s styled in a really feminine way.” she pointed out.

Also quick to applaud Vogue Mexico’s efforts was Valentine27: “Sublime covers, indeed. After the rough Vogue Germany May cover, I’m glad to see Lara looking classy and feminine here. The hair is very glamorous and the makeup is just what’s needed. I don’t like the styling on the first one (above), so if I had to choose, it’d probably be between the 2nd and the 3rd cover.”

“The 2nd cover (above) is sublime,” said a more than satisfied kewkaw.

“Absolutely gorgeous!” praised forum member AlbertNoir.

“Lara at her best. Really good, and I am not a fan of Sgura,” admitted a pleasantly surprised 333101.

Benn98 said, “I prefer the third one (below). The first one looks too Telenovela for my taste with all that gaudy jewels. But overall it’s a great and attention-grabbing selection of covers. Lara’s strong point is simple sex appeal, and Sgura captured it perfectly here.”
