Bella Hadid’s New Bulgari Campaign by Terry Richardson Looks Cheap, Not Luxe

Like it or not, Bella Hadid is the name on everyone’s lips right now as she continues to dominate the fashion scene. Giuseppe Zanotti declared her the face of the Fall 2017 collection, appearing solo in the brand’s new campaign and now Bella makes her debut as an ambassador for Bulgari. Not only was she just announced as the face of Bulgari’s new scent, the 20-year-old’s campaign for the upscale Italian label’s new line of accessories just dropped. Lensed by Terry Richardson (major eye roll), Bella amps up the energy in the images, rocking the collection of Serpenti handbags.

The images, however, fell completely flat with our forum members. “It’s a nice fun image but not for Bulgari, IMO. Last season with Lily Aldridge was so elegant and now this?” pointed out a far from satisfied kokobombon.

“It’s nice in a Kate Spade kind of way, but you’re right, certainly not for Bulgari,” Benn98 agreed. “I don’t understand why they went to town with the launch, only to release a shot rendering her damn near unrecognizable. So pointless. Also, Terry! And now he’s trying to be [Mario] Testino. Wonder who’ll be next!”

“Looks more like a hair campaign,” mocked DutchHomme.

Nymphaea couldn’t believe her eyes either. “Bella + Terry + Bulgari is cheap and Bulgari is anything but cheap! Plus, why use that foul Terry, bad choice Bulgari!” she exclaimed.
