Marine Vacth Proves Less Is More on Vogue Russia’s Elegant November Cover

We have a feeling that we’re about to see a whole lot more of Marine Vacth now that she’s one of Chanel’s many brand ambassadors. The French beauty received Karl Lagerfeld’s seal of approval by becoming the face of the iconic fashion house’s Cruise 2018 collection and now fronts the cover of Vogue Russia. Recently, the magazine has delivered strong covers featuring the likes of Natalia Vodianova, Birgit Kos and Natasha Poly. For November 2017, Marine serves up an effortless, elegant portrait (wearing Chanel, natch) shot by photographer Emma Tempest.

“A beautiful elegant basic shot,” said forum member Nymphaea the moment the cover struck.

“Something so simple seems so fresh, especially for this edition,” praised A.D.C.

Also fond of the outcome was VogueDisciple93. “Gorgeous! Just gorgeous!” he commented.

Benn98 raved, “They’re certainly on a roll with covers this year! Love this as well. Especially with the amount of cover lines. She looks more mature here.”

“Straight, simple, and to the point. It looks very modern and fresh. This is proof that less is more!” GivenchyHomme pointed out.

Bertrando3 wasn’t buying it, however. “This is a simple, basic and cover worthy of ELLE but not at all for Vogue. Where’s the fashion? This cover does nothing for me,” he complained.

“I disagree. Personally, I don’t see ELLE here at all. I think the Vogue is in its simplicity, intrigue, expression and also very subtle and beautiful makeup. I think this is sort of a shot that leaves you wanting more,” fired back KissMiss.

“The fact that she hasn’t landed a Vogue Paris cover is ludicrous. Gorgeous,” favored HeatherAnne.
