Vogue Paris May 2018 : Anna Ewers by Mikael Jansson

A Bronzed Anna Ewers Takes to the Cover of Vogue Paris for a Fifth Time

Every magazine has its tried and tested cover girl and Anna Ewers is most definitely a firm favorite of Vogue Paris. The German beauty makes a triumphant return to the cover of the French fashion bible for May 2018, which marks Anna’s landmark 20th Vogue cover appearance. You can’t blame Emmanuelle Alt for bringing back the blonde bombshell for the fifth time since she’s one of the magazine’s best-selling cover models (and we have the sales figures to prove it). Photographed by Mikael Jansson, Anna transports us to the sandy shores of Mauritius wearing an embellished denim Gucci jacket, tousled hair and a bronzed complexion — bring on summer!

Our forum members wasted no time voicing their opinions on the cover. “This feels like the good old VP, for me. Love, almost, everything, they could have used less bronze on her though!! Carré Otis she is NOT!” voiced Miss Dalloway straight away.

“I actually thought it was Carré Otis,” added Bertrando3. “I like this cover of Vogue Paris for once!”

“Wow, that’s really striking. But I agree that Anna should look more fresh-faced, they went overboard with the makeup,” added dodencebt.

Also loving the cover was forum member MON: “I actually really like this! Love the colors. Love the mood. The styling is too ordinary, but it matches the story they’re trying to project. I’m down with this. Quintessential VP. This will look even better in real life. A must buy for me!”

“Miss Ewers serving some major looks! I really love this cover, she’s the kind of VP cover that speaks to me. Congrats!” applauded badgalcrush.

“Mikael Jansson never disappoints. I love this!” Nepenthes added.

Fiercification couldn’t have agreed more, saying, “It’s a great cover, very late aughts/2010 and I’m not complaining. Mikael really does deliver all the time, thank goodness!”
