Nyarach Abouch Ayuel Stars on Vogue Spain’s November 2021 Cover

As part of a global initiative, editions of Vogue around the world have begun to share content. In an exclusive collaborative effort, Anya Taylor-Joy has already appeared on both the covers of Vogue Spain and Vogue Mexico plus Adele fronted American and British Vogue at the same time. Now Vogue Spain repurposes a shared Vogue fashion story for its November 2021 cover. The publication selects a bold and captivating photograph of Nyarach Abouch Ayuel for the Spanish fashion bible’s latest offering. The South Sudanese stunner strikes a pose in a showstopping crushed velvet gown from Balenciaga’s Spring 2022 collection picked by Kate Phelan as she’s captured in the studio of photographer Rasharn Agyemang.

The outcome immediately ignited fierce debate on our forums. “It’s absolutely stunning…” raved KINGofVERSAILLES.

“I refuse to show appreciation for reprint covers, but that’s a good one,” confessed a pleasantly surprised aracic.

“It’s a great picture, but it makes me sad knowing that it’s a reprint,” voiced ivano.

“Despite the reprint, I’m rather fond of the outcome. Now had Nyarach been looking directly down Agyemang’s lens and perhaps striking a more elegant pose, I would’ve sang the cover’s praises louder, but it’s…fine. The colors are beautiful and the Balenciaga certainly photographs well,” added vogue28.

“Reprint or not, it’s a beautiful cover,” JPineapple chimed in.

“Love it, but wish we still lived in the era of original content,” admitted Urban Stylin.

“Another reprint…” echoed MagFan.

“I guess we all just have to get used to this shared global content thing Vogue is doing now,” wrote mikel.
