From Diet Coke to Magnum, Karl Lagerfeld is one of the few high-end designers that can move seamlessly between the commercial and luxury markets. His latest venture? A capsule collection for Macy's. Expected today, Macy's is releasing details about its new collaboration with the Chanel frontman. A major coup for the department store, this initiative is the latest in the brand's attempts to expand its offering to include more aspirational and high-profile designer merchandise.
Lagerfeld's capsule line will be available in over 200 Macy's stores nationwide, starting at the end of August.
According to WWD, the Lagerfeld line for Macy's will stay true to the designer's aesthetic but will still retail at the department store's more affordable price points.
Will you fight the crowds to get your own piece of wallet-friendly Lagerfeld pie?
