Missoni has just released a preview video about the brand's capsule collection for Target, slated to hit the retail chain in mid-September.
Shot on location during the Missoni for Target ad campaign, the clip features an interview with Margherita Missoni talking about the legacy of the Missoni house and influences for the collection. The designer emphasized the label's heritage as a family owned and run business, and turned her eye back to the 60s, the time when Missoni became an internationally recognized brand.
The house used images from the time period, particularly Italian films, as the primary inspiration for the 400+ piece Target collection, focusing on the now-classic prints from the era that propelled the label to fame.
