Alber Elbaz is a man of many talents, and one of those talents is knowing how to appeal to his online fan base—by giving them plenty of opportunities to gush about how adorable he is. Following his very successful appearance in Lanvin's hit awkward dancing video, the brand's beloved designer makes a cameo in front of the windows at Lanvin's 22 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré store for a new video spot. As he dapperly watches store employees dress the mannequin in fine Lanvin apparel, the peaceful Paris scene transforms into a nightclub, foreshadowing upcoming New Year's Eve celebrations.
The video is a charmer, but I think this one has pretty limited appeal. My main complaint is about the awful "bumping" techno that accompanies the nightclub scenes: I had to take an Advil after I watched it. It kills me to complain about anything Alber Elbaz has ever done, but the music here is a serious issue.
Maybe watch it with the sound off?
