We've got new lookbook images for Versace for H&M's Cruise collection, which hits overseas stores on January 19. Even though Americans won't be able to acquire pieces from the collection without either booking a flight to Europe or flexing their eBay muscles, I think we've already talked about that being no big deal because unlike its predecessor, Versace's latest capsule collection for H&M is nothing special.
The fruits prints and pastels don't pair well with H&M's synthetic blend fabrics—even the professionally photographed lookbook photos make the items seem a little cheapo. The clothes are a hop, skip, and a jump away from being dated.
The real star of the Versace for H&M Cruise Collection lookbook? TFS favorite Abbey Lee Kershaw.
The Australian model always looks a little sickly and severe, so she's a funny, oddly compelling choice for poppy, uber-accessible H&M. Don't get it twisted: I think she looks awesome, but she makes the clothes seem even more like a joke.
