Harper's Bazaar's March Issue includes a feature spread and interview with 90s supermodel Naomi Campbell. Even though she's playing second-fiddle to cover star Gwyneth Platrow, the fashion force can still take a picture, surprise surprise.
Industry fanatics would do themselves a favor to click through to the interview: a major section of the feature explores Naomi's longstanding relationships with legendary designers.
"He's like my father. I'll be in trouble if he sees me in a rip-off," she says of Azzedine Alaïa.
Here's Roberto Cavalli on Naomi:
"I compare Naomi to Venus — her beauty is indescribable. She's never fake, and basically she's perfect."
Dolce & Gabbana:
Domenico: "We met at the beginning of her career, more than 25 years ago. From the very beginning, she was special, had great personality, and was determined and smart."
Stefano: "She never rests on her laurels and always reinvents herself. She is a volcano of ideas, just like us!"
Marc Jacobs:
"People flock to Naomi because of her larger-than-life persona."
