Another Ridiculously Good Campaign Video from Lanvin

I already fell all over myself in praise of Lanvin’s Fall 2012 print campaign, which featured real and really cool non-models, so now that the corresponding video spot is out on the Internet, I’m all out of superlatives.

But my affection for Lanvin’s ad work is nothing new: the French fashion house excels at the campaign game like pretty much no one else. And here’s why: if you thought “dream team” had something to do with US Olympics basketball, you haven’t been paying attention to Lanvin’s campaign credits. Photographer Steven Meisel and creative directors Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and Stephen Wolstenholme of House + Holme have been working together and doing serious justice to Alber Elbaz’s designs since (by my count) the viral hit Fall 2011 awkward dancing video

This video is a little too long and talk-y to go viral, but that doesn’t make it any less of a delight. Enjoy. We’re going to have to burn through many months before we get to see the next one.
