Shanina Shaik is Australia’s Latest Genetically Blessed Reality TV Success Story

Taking athletic swimsuits by Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors and Jets for an off-road test drive, Shanina is yet more proof that killing it in a modeling competition shot for reality television doesn’t always end careers before it starts them. Parading around in brightly-coloured lycra and things held together primarily by sequins and underwire is no doubt her vocation, but it’s not hard to see her making an equally sizeable splash in RTW. Shanina modelled for labels such as Shipley & Halmos, Catherine Malandrino, Ann Taylor and Jason Wu in New York before walking in the Chanel Pre-Fall 2012 presentation in Paris. She has also featured in advertisements for General Pants, RMK, Revlon, Seafolly and Urban Outfitters.

The Vogue shoot was lensed Todd Barry on the New South Wales Central Coast, with barely-there makeup and tousled hair courtesy of Kellie Stratton and a really unfair genetic code.
