Rose Byrne Joins the Front Row at Milan Fashion Week

Australian actress and full-time stylish person Rose Byrne traveled to Milan last week to attend the Max Mara show and meet the Maramotti family.

Byrne has recently been announced as the recipient of the 2014 Women in Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award, which recognizes “outstanding acting achievement and embodiment of style and grace.” Women in Film is a non-profit that works toward gender equality on screen and behind the camera.

At the show, Rose looked her usual blithely chic self in wide-legged white trousers, a black Max Mara blazer, and a liquid gold singlet loosely tucked in. Accessories she kept minimal, choosing only a small gold plate necklace, a gold ring and an equally well-trousered friend.

However, our favorite part of the whole look has to be her new bob cut. At the Michael Kors show in New York she looked pretty with bouncy curls and blonde highlights, but we much prefer this sleeker, chicer style on her. Well played, Rose.

She will be honored at the 2014 Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards on June 11 in LA.
