NYC Modeling Agency, Next Management, Adds a New Talent Division: Next Pets

“Next Management represents a broad range of talent across a variety of categories from model to musician, blogger to bistro owner, prop stylist to personality, and much, much more,” writes Director of Social Media, Damien Neva, in the release announcing the legendary New York City modeling agency’s disruptive new talent category: Next Pets.

With a roster of top talent (the schnauzer Beau, pictured above, has already signed on as one of the division’s big names), Next Pets will oversee the successful careers of the world’s best known petlebrities and develop new “faces” for the rapidly expanding animal meme and pet care industries.

“Establishing an image pets board in today’s market is an absolutely crucial first step to cornering the high fashion and luxury segments of the estimated $53 billion pet industry in the United States alone,” says Neva, citing Buzzfeed as a major potential client. There’s also opportunity to connect Next Pets talent with some of the more traditional fashion brands that already work with the agency’s human modeling divisions.

When asked whether the agency had signed on one of the best-known names in the global pet sector, Karl Lagerfeld‘s cat, Choupette, Neva responded in the negative: “That would be the pet signing, though I do not think the Kaiser would sanction third party representation.”
