Liberty x Nike Team Up (Again) on a Fantastic Printed Activewear Collaboration

The iconic Liberty department store has been situated in the heart of London since 1875, and to this day, it’s still regarded amongst the best of shopping destinations, offering a mix of innovative and eclectic designs. Everybody who knows Liberty also knows that they are renowned for their prints, which not only encompass its heritage but at the same time, incorporate just the right amount of cutting edge avant-garde influences.

In its time, Liberty has participated in a number of collaborations — perhaps the most unexpected one was with Nike. And that partnership was so successful that the two brands have teamed up once again.

Doing what it does best, Liberty transformed a selection of Nike’s most celebrated styles of footwear and apparel in notable archive prints Lora (the original design based on William Morris’ 1970s Willow pattern), Anoosha (a 1930s blossom and bell flower print) and Crown (which was influenced by a combination of Liberty’s paisley fabrics).

If your New Year’s resolution of hitting the gym is starting to seem like a distant memory, then maybe the Liberty x Nike collection is just the incentive you need to kickstart your regime once again. With prices varying from around £55 upwards, these printed pieces are the perfect way to mix some style in with your gymwear staples.
