A new day, a new collaboration to take note of, and this year they just seem to be getting bigger and better. We’re still recovering from the exciting news of the H&M and Alexander Wang collaboration but our attention has admittedly been stolen by the news of Jonathan Saunders’ latest venture.
The Glasgow born fashion designer has teamed up with holiday company Thomson to create a bespoke collection of must-have holiday essentials. It’s the perfect news for this time of the year when we're planning summer vacations and shopping for a beach wardrobe. An added bonus? The limited-edition collection covers both women and men.
The collaboration is focused around Thomson’s new Sensatori Resort Jamaica for which Saunders has also exclusively accessorised the surrounding pool area, and that’s where the collection will also initially launch and go on sale until filtering out to selected stores around the UK.
The collection is an inspirational fusion of beautiful Jamaica, with a colour palette that combines both bold brights with relaxing earthy tones and, of course, you can expect key pieces such as sarongs and beach bags. The key print of choice was also inspired by Saunders’ own iconic design that embodied the dress that the Duchess of Cambridge wore during the Jubilee tour.
