Couple covers are all the rage it seems, and jumping on the bandwagon now is Vogue Brazil. To coincide with the World Cup, Vogue has enlisted one of Brazil's finest footballers, Neymar, who is seen posing alongside Gisele Bundchen (because you know, wouldn't be very fashion without a model in the shot). The Brazilian pair are photographed by Mario Testino for the themed issue, and a patriotic Gisele is seen wearing a white dress with the Brazilian flag draping down her side.
"Well, I guess we can't blame Vogue Brazil for releasing such a cover. I think it's way better than Vogue Spain, it looks more simple but really cool. I love the flag on her arm," commented Emmanuelle.
Miss Dalloway also preferred this as opposed to Vogue Spain's June cover with Cristiano Ronaldo & Irina Shayk: "I enjoy this much better than the Spain one as well. These covers are getting me excited for the World Cup!"
"Cool seeing Neymar on the cover!" wrote justaguy.
"Seem like a very fitting cover — two of Brazil's most recognizable faces on the cover in honor of the world cup! I really like the simple elegance of the cover, it is very tasteful with the only pops of color being the Brazilian flag. The minimal amount of text is great too," enthused YoninahAliza.
Although not everyone was on board, with Abracadabra posting, "Lazy effort, it's so distracting the way Neymar's hand just pokes out around Gisele's shoulder and the styling looks basic. The cover is nothing more than okay and I much prefer the Spanish version."
