Giorgio Armani Outlet Coming to Canada

According to Retail Insider, this maiden voyage could be the first of multiple Canadian locations as it rolls out more of the outlet concept throughout North America. While the company has yet to reveal when the Toronto store will open, it’s already in the midst of recruiting staff for the new store, and will be holding a job fair toward the end of this month.

The Italian fashion label currently has a number of outlet locations on its roster, including 46 outlet stores worldwide, 10 of which are based in the U.S. Retail Insider also suggests that the company is planning on opening another four North American outlet locations by this fall, though it’s only speculation as to whether these will be in Canada. If that is the plan, then the currently under construction and scheduled to open this fall, Montreal Premium Outlets may be an option; as could Vancouver’s McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2015.

There’s also no word on which Armani banners the new outlet stores will carry, given the brand’s all-embracing labels that range from the ultra high-end (Giorgio Armani’s pricey Black Label) to the more everyman appropriate (Armani Collezioni, Emporio Armani, Armani Junior, Armani Jeans and Armani Exchange).
