For Oroton’s Spring 2014 collection, the iconic Australian brand tapped one of our country’s greatest exports. Rose Byrne isn’t just a highly-acclaimed Aussie actress, she’s also got that natural beauty thing in the bag. It’s really a decision that needn’t be explained, but GM & Creative Director of the brand, Ana Maria Escobar, took to the brand’s e-zine, The Studio, to let us all in on why Rose was the perfect fit.
“She embodies everything I dream the brand and our customer aspires to be,” explained Ana. “She is intelligent, genuine, talented and beautiful, she really represents the Australian ‘relaxed glamour’ which we always refer to when talking about our brand.”
Rose recalls seeing Oroton stores on her way to the city from her hometown of Sydney’s Balmain, and is proud to be fronting the prestigious brand. “There is no other Australian brand with such an iconic history and instinctive style,” she said.
London photographer Boo George led Rose’s two-day shoot, which involved a crew of 28 people. We’re sure Rose, who’s admitted she’s a little shy, wasn’t at all intimidated by the amount of people in the room.
