C. Wonder and the Fashion Project Want Your Old Designer Duds for a Good Cause

Rejoice! Those old Jimmy Choos collecting dust in the back of your closet might finally do someone some good. The Fashion Project, an e-commerce/charity venture that resells donated luxury clothes, accessories and shoes with 55 percent of the proceeds going to a cause of your choice, is teaming up with C. Wonder on a philanthropic project aiming to make women with cancer feel gorgeous.

The two are pairing to raise money for Look Good Feel Better, a service that helps women with cancer cope with the side effects treatment has on their appearance. The program teaches women beauty and styling tricks to help them better deal with the changes their looks go through during treatment.

For the next month, C. Wonder and the Fashion Project are asking stylish women with overflowing wardrobes to donate their lightly-worn clothes, accessories and shoes to the cause and in return, receive 20 percent off their purchase of $100 or more at C. Wonder, in stores or online. Plus, 55 percent of the proceeds from every sold item will go to Look Good Feel Better.

The project will run through September 18, so you have until then to do a little digging and choose the items you want to get rid of for a good cause. Fashion Project has a list of approved brands, so make sure you check them before you start digging up your old clothes.

If you’re looking to join the cause, you can donate your clothes here or leave them in a drop-off bin at your local C. Wonder store.
