GQ U.K. just awarded Kim Kardashian the second most important title she’s gotten from a magazine this year. She basked in high-fashion glory on the cover of Vogue as one-half of the #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple, and now she’s been named the ladmag’s Woman of the Year.
A likely bewigged blond Kim smoulders on the cover in a close-cropped shot. The focus is on her face, rather than those famous curves (although we get to see some of those in the spread). The reality star fêted her big issue at a red carpet event in London yesterday, dressed in a custom Ralph & Russo bustier and sheer, high-waisted chain mail skirt — because a Woman of the Year is required to show her knickers every once in a while.
Kim officially accepted her award at the ceremony, but while she was initially bestowed the honor as Kim Kardashian, she wants everyone to know that’s not her name anymore. She Instagrammed an image of the place cards from the event, on which she is referred to by her maiden name. “Who?” the reality star captioned the photo.
Girl, you know full well “who” they’re talking about.
