Thanks to websites like Moda Operandi, shoppers with expensive tastes can get dibs on all of next season’s flyest threads with just a few clicks of the mouse.
This season, BCBGMaxAzria and Hervé Léger are speeding up the process in partnership with RewardStyle’s LiketoKnow:It. The platform will make the Instagram photos of a handful of influencers from both brands’ Spring 2015 shows shoppable for anyone looking to snap up a few choice pieces for next spring before they hit stores. A total of 13 looks will be available for purchase and if users “like” an image with any one of the digital options, they will be sent an email with purchasing details.
Sounds dangerous! Considering BCBGMaxAzria’s pieces aren’t as pricey as, say, something you can get from Prabal Gurung, this seems like the perfect platform for the brand to start selling the newest crop of wares. We predict more than a few impulse, heat-of-the-runway-moment buys with this one!
