The collection is 130-pieces strong and due to hit shelves for the Spring 2015 season. The only thing you won’t find in this collection? Denim. But don’t worry — the pair promises to offer a few styles next fall. For now, fans of Current and Elliott will have to do with the trouser-heavy collection, which combines masculine and feminine sensibilities to create a polished yet relaxed, All-American feel with a touch of Parisian flair. Expect striped button-ups alongside army-inspired pieces, but not without a dash of tulle and a helping of frills. Military-style embroidered jackets intermingle with smart, striped trousers and ruffled eyelet blouses — it’s a marriage of hard and soft, the perfect balance between tomboy and girly.
That’s not all for the design duo. In conjunction with their womenswear offering, they’re also releasing The Great Little, a line for girls priced around $100.
Elliott and Current are moving quickly with this new venture. E-commerce for The Great is supposed to be available come January, and prices will range from $95 to $1,395.
We’re excited to see the line in full. We wager there will be plenty to drool over once the collection arrives in stores.
