Nicole Trunfio Rocks Clashing Scanlan Theodore for TIFF 2014

It’s busy times for Nicole Trunfio, who has been jumping between the inconveniently timed New York Fashion Week and the Toronto International Film Festival over the last few days. We guess that’s what you have to put up with when you’re a fashion model with an acting career on the rise.

At least Nicole’s got the wardrobe thing covered while promoting her role in the new Aussie kids film, Paper Planes, which also stars Sam Worthington. She was snapped on her way to an interview for the film, donning a clashing Scanlan Theodore ensemble. You might recognise this particular look, because it was also rocked by Jessica Gomes for the David Jones Spring fashion launch.

The dramatic and textured one-shoulder crop and tropical print knee-length skirt work perfectly together by sticking to a white, black and flesh-coloured palette, meaning the differing prints aren’t an issue. She opted for pointed-toe black heels and a structured purple bag which, surprisingly, worked well with the getup. It’s a little less skimpy than we normally see from the model, which is why we’re such a fan of this look on her.
