Fashion’s Night Out Returns to London

Taking place along some of the world’s busiest shopping locations, Oxford Street and Regent Street, we were spoilt for choice as so many of the shops were offering great discounts and promotions all night long. And that also includes fun activities like social photo booths and great live music, plus it was all accompanied by free drinks.

One destination that never disappoints when FNO hits London is the quintessentially British department store Liberty. Amongst its celebrations this year, the #LibertyScarfSelfie competition in the store’s famous Scarf Hall was a highlight. After watching the experts show just how many ways there are to tie one of those bespoke print scarves, onlookers got the chance to show how they’d style it, whilst standing in front of a life-size Vogue, for the chance to win a limited-edition Liberty scarf.

Also, let’s not ignore the fact that Henry Holland was in-store and DJing no less, as he celebrated the launch of his Debauched Debutantes collection. Anybody who snapped up a piece from the range also got a free cashmere scarf or House of Holland nails. You’ve got to love FNO!

After sipping a few complimentary Mahiki drinks, it’s all too easy to get sucked into Liberty’s in-store promotions, so it was time to head somewhere where the price points wouldn’t quite hammer our credit cards as much. Topshop’s flagship over on Oxford Street was a no-brainer. As shoppers were treated to live music and free beauty makeovers, Creative Director Kate Phelan offered us some new season fashion inspiration with her edit carefully highlighted throughout the store.

It was a fun night, and we’re definitely hoping that FNO will return to London again next year, although we doubt our bank balances would agree!
