People magazine has crowned its sexiest man of 2014 and the honor has gone to none other than Chris Hemsworth, aka the reason why you can’t decide which Hemsworth brother is hotter. Last night, Jimmy Kimmel helped unveil the elder Hemsworth as the recipient of the coveted honor, joining the ranks of other “sexiest” men like George Clooney, John F. Kennedy Jr., Denzel Washington and Brad Pitt.
According to People, the actor is taking his new title and running with it with plans to use it as leverage with his wife, 38-year-old model Elsa Pataky. “I think you’ve bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house,” he said. “I can just say to her, ‘Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now.'” We’re sure Elsa will have a different opinion on that one.
People released the cover image for the issue, which hits newsstands on Friday, and it looks like Idris Elba and Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt also made the cut for the world’s sexiest. We can’t wait to see all 208 of those fine, fine men.
