General Pants Co. Has Rebranded to General Peace Co. For Charity

General Pants Co. will rename 48 of its storefronts to General Peace Co. from today, November 24, to raise funds for Save the Child Australia and Oasis Youth Support.  As part of the campaign, a T-shirt range will be sold throughout the world featuring ‘Give Peace’ designs from Stussy, Ksubi, Santa Cruz, Neuw, Zanerobe, Vans, Insight, Candidate and RVCA.

There’s a bunch of celebrity ambassadors backing the campaign, including Rachel Zoe, Ronan Keating, Angus & Julia Stone, Cheyenne Tozzi, Jackson Gallagher, Henry Holland, Samantha Jade, Pip Edwards, Cody & Alli Simpson, Laura Csortan, Samantha Harris, Corbin Harris, Candice Lake, Daniel Johns and Ruby Rose, who will all encourage you to buy the $39.95 range through social media with the hashtag #GIVEPEACE.

“2014 has been a tough year for the world,” Craig King, General Pants CEO, says in a news release. “From the conflicts we see on the news every day to youths requiring assistance even in our own backyards, now more than ever the world could use a little bit of peace and help.”

100 per cent of the proceeds from the range will be donated to Save the Children Australia and Oasis Youth Support, and customers will also be rewarded for hashtagging #GIVEPEACE with a 15 per cent off voucher for General Pants Co. purchases. Craig adds, “We have asked our friends, family and employees to all get behind ‘Give Peace’ and hope Australians do too.”

General Pants Co. will go back to its original name in four weeks time, when the Christmas period comes to an end.
