Fur Vendors Douse Protestors With Bleach, Ammonia During Anti-Fur Protest

It’s not every day you hear of an anti-fur protester getting doused with liquid. Usually, it’s the other way around. But a few anti-fur advocates got unexpectedly drenched during a protest at a fur shop located at 520 Broadway in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. During a very boisterous demonstration, three fur merchants allegedly climbed to the roof of the building and threw buckets containing a mixture of ammonia and bleach onto the angry protestors in the street below. Horrified, yet?

The entire exchange was caught on video, where you will see the protestors getting soaked. It gets worse: A few passersby and an infant also got some of the liquid on them. When police arrived on the scene, they found the three men smelling like bleach and in possession of bottles of the concoction’s ingredients. The trio is currently out on bail, but it’s clear that they were caught red-handed.
