Brights and Feminine Monochrome for Magic Millions’ Opening Night

We’ve got the best of the red carpet, which is more of a white-washed timber for this event, below.

International racing commentator Francesca Cumani was the classiest lady there, keeping things understated in simple reds and blacks. We’re loving the dress’ asymmetrical upper half, which added sex appeal to the otherwise safe piece. The pearl earrings and tousled ginger waves kept Francesca’s sophisticated femininity at play, though.

Magic Millions 2015 ambassador Rachael Finch stepped out in a stunning Alex Perry midi dress, with a white sheer-lace bodice and black-and-white scallop-hem skirt. The model accessorised with a black-and-gold clutch decorated with a hexagonal beehive pattern, sophisticated two-strap heels and Calleija jewels. We’re not sure the black neck tie was necessary, and a softer hairdo could’ve worked wonders with the feminine frock.

Melanie Vallejo was pretty as a picture in contrasting pinks, playing with hues and textures to achieve this super-cute look. The Winners and Losers star toned down the sequin midi skirt with a lighter tank and neutral accessories, which we wish were more cream than taupe in colour.

Liz Cantor looked business-chic in her monochromatic ensemble, tucking a white button-up blouse into a shapely patterned midi skirt. The television personality added glam with a sparkly clutch and jewels, plus a bold red lip.
