Rag & Bone is doing something a little different for its men’s Fall 2015 collection, and the brand has tapped legendary ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and street dance darling Lil Buck for help. The label is presenting this season’s menswear options in a film (a favorite medium of the label), showing the clothes in motion as Baryshnikov and Buck dance (and sometimes play chess) in pieces from the collection.
If the Georgie Greville directed short proves anything, it’s that this line isn’t meant for sitting and looking pretty. From high kicks to popping and locking, the clothes move with the dancers, showing that they are about as functional as they are fashionable. In moody hues mostly ranging from shades of gray to black, we get parkas, bomber jackets, blazers, tuxedo-stripe trousers with a street flair and enough oversized turtleneck sweaters to shake a stick at.
It’s definitely a creative and rather beautiful way to show the collection. Watch the video above.
