Under Armour has tapped Jamie Foxx to help them out with their new global campaign. The actor collaborated with the athletics brand on commercials and digital content for their “Book of Will” campaign.
For one of the commercials, a suited up Foxx delivers a monologue about Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors point guard. Foxx actually helped write the monologue himself, and has worked with Under Armour extensively as a “creative partner” on the project. In fact, this will be the first time Under Armour has so heavily used a nonathlete in their campaign, according to Senior VP Creative Steve Battista.
Foxx also appears in another ad for the brand featuring track and field stars Natasha Hastings and Manteo Mitchell. Peep Foxx’s Stephen Curry commercial, due to air during Sunday’s All-Star game above.
