Aussies Show Support for Sass & Bide’s New Design Director at London Fashion Week

Sass & Bide showcased its first collection under the wing of its new design director, Anthony Cuthbertson, at London Fashion Week on Friday, February 20, marking the first range since the label’s co-founders, Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke, left Sass & Bide last year.

The Australian brand’s aesthetic stayed true to its much-loved bohemian and embellishment-heavy energy, and, although we’ve been wondering what the removal of Clarke and Middleton would mean for the home-grown label’s devotees, it appears that Aussie fashionistas are still proving their loyalty to Sass & Bide.

Zac Stenmark, one half of Australia’s hottest twins, attended the LFW show alongside fashion bloggers Candice Lake and Margaret Zhang, and musician Natalie Imbruglia. Sure, there was a bunch of It Brits sitting FROW too, like models Amber Le Bon and Ella Catliff and DJs Chelsea Leyland and Becky Tong, but it warms our heart to see the Aussies stand by one of our country’s most successful labels.

We can’t wait to see how the Fall 2015 collection is received by Aussie and international celebs alike!
