Over the past year, super-blogger Nadia Aboulhosn has done a great job as the official brand ambassador for British fashion e-tailer Boohoo’s plus-sized line. So it was only a matter of time before she collaborated with the company on her own capsule collection.
Nadia is one of the leading plus-sized bloggers right now, with a social cachet that includes over 120,000 Facebook fans and 190,000 Instagram followers. Since starting her blog as just a hobby back in 2010, the New York-based blogger has become so successful that it’s now become her full-time job.
NEW BLOG POST! Go to my blog to see my capsule collection with @boohooofficial. www.nadiaaboulhosn.com. There are a few more pieces that weren’t shot for the look book but will be available on their site. Everything will go live at boohoo.com at 5am EST! Can’t wait to see you guys wearing them! #NadiaxBoohoo
Today, she can also tick fashion designer off the list as her first drop for Boohoo launches online. She’s played an active role in designing the collection with the clear goal of creating statement pieces that the plus-sized girl struggles to find on the high street.
Nadia also wanted to create a collection that fits in with her current stylistic mood, so she aimed for a minimal vibe with a slight androgynous feel. Monochrome is a clear trend in the colour palette, but it also covers brights in contrast to softer hues that are both equally perfect for you to incorporate into your springtime wardrobe.
The collection caters to sizes 16 to 24 and covers everything from figure-hugging panel dresses to sexy co-ords starting at £20.
