Karen Walker is killing it in the fashion industry, and now she’s also set to dominate the beauty industry with her new fragrances.
The New Zealand-based designer is leaping into the world of perfumes with a trio of scents, dubbed A, B and C, which uphold the label’s optimism and chic-meets-eccentric appeal. According to the designer, A is “herbal and fresh”, B is “ripe and delicious”, and C is “opulent and generous”.
“I’ve always wanted to create a range of fragrances and I’m thrilled with this trio,” Karen says in a press release. “The three different scents allow the Karen Walker woman to have a scent for any mood, any day, any time and any occasion.”
Karen travelled to South France’s Grasse, the recognised birthplace of fragrance, to work closely with the oldest perfume house in the world, Charabot, to create her new products. Just like her much-loved sunglasses, the perfume’s building-block-style bottles are of the utmost quality and exude luxury.
