Kate Upton Speaks Out About Last Year’s Nude Photo Leak

Last year, Kate Upton was among several female celebrities whose privacy was violated when hackers leaked nude photos taken on her personal phones. The leak, called the Fappening, revealed intimate photos from a number of celebrities, including Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Lawrence, Cara Delevingne, Rihanna and more. It was incredibly invasive and such a big issue that the FBI got involved in tracking down the hackers.

Since the big leak last summer, Kate Upton has finally come out to share her thoughts on the matter with the Evening Standard. “It was very difficult,” she said. “It’s an invasion of my privacy and it’s not OK. It’s illegal. People don’t have a right to look at those photos or to judge them.”

Absolutely. This isn’t the first time images of Upton have been splashed all over the internet without her permission. Earlier this month in an interview with Vogue UK, Upton admitted that a video Terry Richardson uploaded of her doing the cat daddy in a tiny bikini was done so without her knowledge or permission. “That was disrespectful, you could have told me!” she told the notoriously creepy shutterbug after the video went live.
