You need to clear your calendar ASAP, because Target has just announced a collaboration with Australian designer Dion Lee for a one-off women’s capsule collection.
“We were excited about the opportunity to create a collection that will give more women across Australia access to the Dion Lee brand,” the designer said in a press release. “The Dion Lee for Target collection is designed to reflect the lifestyle of the contemporary woman, mixing elements of tailoring, lounge and active wear, to create the ultimate modern wardrobe.”
The collection will consist of 35 pieces, featuring day-to-night clothing, loungewear, accessories, and Dion Lee’s first-ever activewear capsule. We can expect signature tailored detailing, laser-cut and technical fabrics, and, this is the best part, extremely affordable prices ranging from $25 to $119. Yes, that’s right, you can own a Dion Lee garment without having to splash the cash.
The limited-edition Dion Lee for Target range will be available in 35 selected stores nationally and online from July 2, 2015, at www.target.com.au/dionlee. If the public’s reaction to Target’s Missoni collaboration is anything to go by, you’ll want to pencil that date in.
