Miranda Kerr Is Not Returning to the Victoria’s Secret Runway, Thank You Very Much

Miranda Kerr might’ve paved the way for Australian models to take on the Victoria’s Secret runway, with the likes of Elyse Taylor, Jessica Hart, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Shanina Shaik following in her footsteps, but, despite what reports say, she’s definitely not returning to the fabulously OTT show this year.

The Fix reported that a “VS insider” revealed information of Miranda inking a $3.8 million deal, which would see her return to the VS runway in November after a two-year hiatus from the lingerie brand.

However, a VS spokesperson has completely debunked the rumours to People. “The recent reports regarding Victoria’s Secret and Miranda Kerr signing a new contract are completely untrue, and we have no idea how they got reported,” they said.

“Victoria’s Secret appreciates all that Miranda has done with the brand, and all the amazing things she continues to do with her own projects, but there are no plans, on the part of either party, to renew,” the spokesperson added.

In an interview with InStyle late last year, Miranda noted that leaving VS enabled her to spend more time with her son, Flynn. “When I didn’t continue the contracts with Victoria’s Secret and David Jones it freed me up a lot,” Miranda explained to the publication. “With Victoria’s Secret, I used to travel a lot and I couldn’t do that being a mother,” she continued, keeping relatively secret about the whole thing.

While part of us would love to relive the excitement when she was the first-ever Aussie to walk the Victoria’s Secret runway, we understand if she wants to keep mum about it.
