The Knick actress is well aware of the stigma that comes with being the daughter of someone famous. She realizes she could have taken the path many of her celebrity kid cohorts do, capitalizing on their family name to carve out their own spaces in the tabloid world. But Hewson is more interested in building an actual career for herself. “There’s the cliché of the celebrity kid with a fragrance and a handbag line and they design jewelry on the side and maybe dabble in acting,” she said. “I’ve always been very particular about the fact that this is the one thing I want to do.”
