Wilhelmina Celebrates the ‘Wolf Pack’ with Epic NYFWM Party

New York Fashion Week: Men’s is over and last night, Wilhelmina models helped wrap up the week with a bang. The agency held a shindig at Marquee in honor of its male models, AKA the Wolf Pack and, of course, the place was filled with gorgeous guys and glamorous gals. Laverne Cox, RJ Mitte and Carly Cushnie were just a few of the beautiful people on hand (selves included), but when we spied sibling modeling duo Armando and Fernando Cabral, we just had to pull them aside for a short chat.

The pair stars in Balmain’s Fall 2015 campaign with the likes of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Joan and Erika Smalls and Gigi and Bella Hadid. The campaign images just dropped yesterday to every fashion nerd’s excitement and we had to get the scoop on their Balmain moment. “This is our second campaign together so it was nice that we could be together again. We always have so much fun,” Armando told us. “Fernando knows his craft and after 15 years, it’s become easy. We just try to give the client what they asked for, but there’s definitely some chemistry because he is my brother. It makes it a lot easier.” Spoken like true professionals.

Through the party, we naturally couldn’t help but have flashbacks to that epic show package Wilhelmina put out that blessed us with images of gorgeous shirtless guys getting all primal as they slathered on glow-in-the-dark paint. The vibe of the party matched the video. We noticed the artwork of Eddy Bogaert, who also did the art for the video itself, around the venue.

“It’s one of those serendipitous moments in life where you put something together that you really believe in and you have tremendous amounts of talent, from the videographers to the producers, the art director to the marketing people to the talent that participates,” Wilhelmina Models brand officer Melissa Wilhelmina Cooper said about the video. “Everybody brings elements to an idea that then takes off and transcends into something completely different. I think it’s that elemental nature that makes Wilhelmina models unique. They’re willing to put that out there, that creative spark. They’re willing to give something of themselves that is more than just a photo or a video. They embody whatever it is they’re doing and I think the guys in the wolf pack video really did that.”

It certainly did just that – and more – for many of us. “They were hot!” Ms. Cooper exclaimed. We could only wholeheartedly agree.
