Australia’s Next Top Model Cycle 9 winner Brittany Beattie has made her official runway debut at Carriageworks for Witchery’s Spring 2015 collection last night.
The former bobcat driver seems to have left the anxiety and panic attacks that plagued her time on the TV show behind her as she looked calm and breezy strutting her stuff in a chic two-piece white suit.
As you will recall, the 20-year-old winner collapsed during her audition and had to be treated by a medic as a result of her anxiety and fears, but now it’s all behind her. Speaking to Daily Mail before her debut she shared, “I’m not nervous at all. I usually would be with my anxiety but now I can’t wait to get out there.”
She believes her experience on the show helped he gain greater control over her anxiety. The fashion industry can be chaotic at times, but being thrown in the deep end prepared her for the challenges she’d face in the real world of modelling.
She added, “I definitely think that the experience on Australia’s Next Top Model prepared me for tonight. Every time I do something it’s getting better and better.”
It’s great to see Brittany in control and taking everything in her stride. With her focus set on the future and a move to Sydney with her boyfriend in the pipeline, things are bound to continue to get better for the brunette beauty.
