Model Jesinta Campbell has proved once again that she’s so much more than just a pretty face, speaking up about the Adam Goodes controversy during Today‘s Mixed Grill segment this morning.
It has been revealed that the Indigenous Sydney Swans star is considering retirement, after being consistently booed on the AFL field.
This follows a war dance he performed publicly as a post-try celebration earlier this year, dividing the sports world as to whether or not the booing is motivated by racism.
“Booing is a public form of bullying, and Adam has come out and said that it is affecting to him so everyone needs to stop,” urged Jesinta. “It’s affecting his welfare, it’s affecting his family and his friends, and it needs to stop.”
“I have to personally thank Adam Goodes because my future children are going to be Indigenous and because of his courage and passion he is creating a better future for not only my children but all Indigenous children.” Jesinta Campbell is engaged to Sydney Swans player Buddy Franklin, and has spoken out about the booing of his team mate Adam Goodes. #Today9

Jesinta, who is engaged to another Sydney Swans player, Lance “Buddy” Franklin, believes the booing is racist, and congratulated Adam for his bravery.
“I have to personally thank Adam Goodes because my future children are going to be Indigenous and because of his courage and passion he is creating a better future for not only my children but all Indigenous children,” she said.
