Lisa Hyde’s The Bachelor S3, Ep 6 Low-Down: ‘She Stood Up for What She Believes In’

Tonight we witnessed what the contestants would probably call “Triple Date Of Hell”, but what Sam likes to call “The Groundhog Date”.

I personally didn’t think it was that bad, but, then again, I can’t judge because I know how much emotions are heightened and every little thing that happens in the mansion seems 10 times worse than what it actually is.

Ebru, Jacinda and Bec were all taken on the exact same date and each girl had an incredible time, from changing tyres to jet boating to flirty waitresses. I really think all ladies handled themselves really well.

Although Sam looked like he was enjoying the girls’ company, we didn’t see any romance. I must admit, I am really impressed with the way Sam is handling himself on each date.

But despite Sam trying hard to impress, neither Bec, Ebru or Jacinda were at all pleased to find out they went on the same date. In fact, they wind up feeling humiliated and embarrassed.

I really feel for the ladies in this situation. We need to remember that each of the girls have left their lives in search of love and to not be given an equal chance to get to know The Bachelor would be really tough.

It’s sad to see Jacinda leave tonight, but, at the same time, I am really proud that she stood up for what she believes in and had the courage to tell The Bachelor she deserves better.

When Sam tells her he can’t see them being anything more than just friends, she handles that like a pro too. Rather than getting angry or upset, the pair laugh it off and leave totally amicably.

Well done, Jacinda, for being such a great role model. We are going to miss your energy, but I know there is a great guy out there waiting for you.
