We’re pretty bummed that summer is coming to a close and our only consolation is that a lot of dope fall clothing is about to hit shelves. Folks are particularly amped about H&M’s forthcoming collaboration with Balmain. To announce the collaboration back in May, creative director Olivier Rousteing debuted two looks from the range at the Billboard Music Awards red carpet with the help of Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner. Now, ELLE UK has a preview of what’s to come in its October Issue which hit newsstands today.
In an image posted to its Instagram page, we see a woman in what appears to be a black and white striped button-up with gold buttons and striped trousers. The look is completed with a black and deep green faux fur coat with leathery details and a tie belt. Inside the issue, the same woman rocks a bandeau top, slouchy pants, longline sleeveless blazer and strappy sandals with gold detail. But the most eye-catching look has to be a bright pink dress festooned with beads, sequins and shiny metallic quilting. Each look is very Balmain in its own way and reminds us of pieces we’ve seen on the proper Balmain runway.
Take a peek over at ELLE UK and get excited for the collection, which hits stores November 5.
