For those who can’t get enough of the Law and Order series in its many iterations, get ready to freak out because a new one could be coming your way. According to E!, NBC has put in a series order for Law and Order: You the Jury, a reality TV version of the popular shows which will allow viewers to vote on the verdict of real-life trials from the comfort of their own homes.
Murder trials would be excluded from the show, which we think is for the best. Though at first it might seem a little undignified to turn our judicial system into a reality show, when we think about it, it makes perfect sense. High-profile trials capture the attention and imagination of the public. Why not give the people what they want and put real-life trials up for public consumption and participation?
