We’re not sure if the Zimmermann sisters even know how to disappoint, or if they’ve ever done such a thing in their lives, because their label’s new Resort Swim 2016 campaign lives up to every high expectation they’ve set over the winning seasons.
Dreamy? Check. Feminine? Check. Vacay-inspired? Check. Need it in our lives right now? Check. The campaign, shot by Beau Grealy, is familiar yet still delivers something new, showing off Zimmermann’s ability to blend technical expertise with an unparalleled sense of ease and femininity.
Taking a cue from vintage poolside photographs and afternoon tones for colour inspo, the creatives balanced khaki, navy and lilac with rust and soft yellows to nail those vintage-meets-modern feels.
Model Constance Jablonski‘s natural beauty and nomadic appeal also fit the Zimmermann bill, allowing the intricate detailing such as print mesh overlays, broderie-lace trim, quilted panelling and fluid lycra frills to look at home against the majestic Greek Islands backdrop.
The dreamlike prints are also strong as ever for Resort Swim 2016, boasting vintage florals and hand-drawn abstract leaf patterns on luxe fabrications like linen, gauzy voiles working to soften or saturate the ethereal hues.
If you want to pick up a piece for yourself you can do so by heading to Zimmermann’s online store come October 6.
