Your Emoji Now Dresses Better than You Do, Thanks to Designers Like Marc Jacobs and DVF

If you’ve had trouble finding a stylish outfit for your Bitmoji avatar, consider your first world problem solved. The one-year-old app teamed up with Bergdorf Goodman and W magazine to provide outfits from high-end designers for its customizable selection of emojis and avatars.

Users can choose from designs by Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, Zac Posen, Alexander McQueen and more when dressing their avatar to the nines. Over 35 looks (including 14 designer outfits) will be added to the virtual mall today, fulfilling a common request among users, says founder Jacob “Ba” Blackstock.

“The way tech is going, we’re living more and more of our lives in the digital world, and the more we represent ourselves and express ourselves digitally, the more personal style becomes an important aspect of the tech we’re using,” Blackstock told Mashable. “In real life, you express yourself through the clothes you wear, and with Bitmoji we’re bringing that kind of expression into your digital life.”

While we have to shell out hard-earned cash to wear high fashion IRL, our avatars can twirl in the hottest designs without spending a dime. Since this is our only chance to wear head-to-toe Marc Jacobs for free, we’re obviously on board. Download the Bitmoji app here.
