Way before Gigi Hadid stormed the catwalk in a teeny weeny Tommy Hilfiger bikini, the brand’s sexiest pieces were logo-banded boxers, baggy jeans and bandeau tops. It was the 90s and the late R&B singer and style icon Aaliyah had just ushered in the era of the Tommy Hilfiger tomboy.
Those golden years are back with a vengeance lately (see: the Cruel Intentions TV series and Backstreet Boys/Spice Girls rumored world tour) and Tommy’s getting in on the fun with a vintage-inspired capsule collection for Mytheresa.com.
Suki and Immy Waterhouse model the nine-piece line, priced at $198 to $654 thanks to luxe fabrics like velvet and satin. It includes sweatshirts, boxers, varsity jackets and a crop top that would make Aaliyah proud.
Swoop bang not included.
